Bought this unit a few weeks back as I had noticed a couple of black mold spots in the top corner of my bedroom, this coupled with the fact that it looked like someone had emptied a glass of water down the inside of my window every morning made me think a dehumidifier would be useful.
Since buying it has dried out the bedroom, we have it on overnight and both my wife and I have had better sleeping patterns and not a drop of condensation on the window in the morning, it almost fills the 2 litre tank running overnight with both of us but I couldn’t be happier with it. The air feels warmer in the room too as an added benefit, even if the heating has not been on.

This dehumidifier is quiet and powerful for it’s compact size. It doesn’t dominate the room and it just sits there quietly doing the job. It also has an in built ioniser so the other reason I bought this model was it helps to keep the pollen down. Im very pleased with this efficient dehumidifier.

I have it in the loft and it works perfekt. The amount of water extracted is stunning and exactly as promised. Settings are easy to adjust. Also it turns off when temperatur drops below 5 degree. Important to mention is the low noise level.

I have never owned a Dehumidifier before so I really have nothing to compare this to. I know that if I leave it on here in my home, it starts to really collect water fast which means its definitely working. In my smaller room it brings the humidity level down from 55% to 40% in like an hour tops. In the big living room it won’t get >40 but that’s probably because we have a few windows that suck and outside air is allowed in constantly through them.
The machine is super solid and built with supreme quality. Love the sliding wheels which makes it easy to take different places in your home with ease. I think, direct drain for continuous operation would best for 24/7 running this machine as its come with drain pipe 60cm inside the box.
I am really happy with this purchase and I will surely come back to leave a review if anything changes.

Love this dehumidifier its well built looks very stylish and iwas surprised at how much water was taken from my living room.
It was delivered on time in fact i think it was a day earlier than than stated on my order, however i did have a slight issue with digital readout screen and i got in touch with customer services and they were very helpfull and they did supply me with a brand new unit, cant praise them enough and i would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a dehumidifier.

This is an amazing piece of kit. I only write reviews for products I’m really impressed with and this is one of them. For years we’ve used EcoAir dehumidifiers which are ok but fall far short of this beauty. The price is comparable but that’s where the similarity ends. The PureMate PM420 is quieter, collects far more water (therefore less emptying) and can be set at your desired humidity level. Not only that, but you can set the machine to come on after a certain number of hours. Once it’s empty it will switch off and the water container can be easily removed for emptying. It’ll amaze you how much water it collects from the atmosphere. We have ours in the kitchen and it easily tackles all the steam from cooking and washing. No more mould on the walls and a warmer house. Very happy
