This is very quiet and does take moisture out of the air. Its not as effective as my older compressor machine, although I did not expect it to be as it uses only 65W of electricity and my older one uses 500W and is noisy as hell.
I leave it on 24hrs and the air purifier gives the air a crisp feeling if you get my drift. If your thinking of buying one of these Id highly recommend it.
