I bought this to remove the condensation in my kitchen and dining room mainly.
You could see a difference in a matter of an hour or so with a considerable amount of water in the tray.
Being fully portable I’m moving it around the house to great affect.
The laundry drying mode is a bonus and works great.
The 6+ litre drainage container is also an ideal size with auto off when full.

This item claims to do many things to stop internal dampness. It really does do what they state on the instructions.
Within the first 4 hours, the machine removed 70% of the dampness. No longer do we have windows full of condensation and units against walls becoming damp. Just 4 hours a day operation, stops dampness. When we put on the tumble dryer, we put the machine on too, removing dampness from the air and allowing the drying to be quicker.
This one machine saves buying the manual ones that go in each room. This machine covers the whole house.

Although title says 20litre portable dehumidifier which when I bought I thought it meant 20 litre capacity but that means in high temperature around 30 or more can give 20 litre water in a day. Its tank is 5 litre . Does the job in great way. Cheap products didn’t work for me but this was a saviour . You can let it be on continuously and turn it off manually or put it on timer from 1 hour to 24 hour. It shows what’s the moist degree in the room and you can see changes in color. It’s easy to empty the tank , make sure u empty the tank and if u are not going to use it for few days or weeks clean the tank n pipe inside . Although it looks expensive but worth every penny as cheap ones were waste of money and energy. Whenever u want to use it make sure you close door in that room to benefit most of the device and its function. Totally recommend it!

We moved in to a new house and was suffering from mold everywhere. This seems to have fixed the problem. very handy as comes with on wheels!

I have a utility room next to an inside bathroom, so no natural venting to the outside is available. The internal fan hasn’t been doing a great job of removing all the moisture out of the air when we used appliances for washing. The consequence of this is the utility room next to the bathroom got rather musty and some clothes started developing light mold on them, rather nasty. So I bought this unit to help eliminate the smell and the humidity problem. My wife is very sensitive to mold, and this has really helped in that respect, keeping the humidity low enough to inhibit mold growth. I kept the unit on, running all night and day for the recommended time stated. We do have to empty the 5 litre tank at least once a day, sometimes twice, but we have a option to use the direct drain to use the hose attachment. I imagine the hose/auto drain feature is really useful, but emptying the tank works too. I was totally amazed just how much moisture was in that room. The room is now smelling much better with that moldy smell gone and hopefully no more mold growth will occur. I would highly recommend this unit. It is not too noisy, and we haven’t noticed an increase in our electric bill with this great PureMate 20 Litre dehumidifier running day and night.
