Just received new tower fan. Assembly very simple. Quality seems good. Switched on to a very nice cool flow of air. I have emphysema and could immediately feel more comfortable. I have put it on low speed with ion. On this setting I cannot really hear the fan. The only very slight criticism is the length of the cable. Soon rectified. All told a definite improvement over the cheap one it is replacing. Do not understand the ion setting yet but will investigate it.
